Determining the right dosage for you or your pet is one of the first steps to beginning a CBD regimen. Simply put, there is no hard and fast “recommended dose”– everybody needs a different amount to get the best results. This is due to a number of factors, like how quickly your body metabolizes the CBD and your individual endocannabinoid system.
Our 250mg tincture makes it easy to add CBD to your pets day by just squeezing the dropper directly into your pets mouth or on top of their food. 1 full dropper of the 250mg tincture is equivalent to approximately 8mg of CBD. When starting your pet on a new supplement we do recommend a lower dose than needed and slowly working your way up to the full dose.
A general guide to determining you pets CBD dose is .2mg of CBD per pound of your pet. So for example, a 25-pound dog would need 5mg of CBD per dose. Keep in mind that these numbers can be adjusted based on your pet’s medical history and the ailment in which you are trying to help.
